IFB # 2017 – 10: Elevator Preventative Maintenance and Annual Safety Testing

The Springfield Parking Authority (SPA) is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for Elevator Preventative Maintenance and Annual Safety Testing services, to be performed at its facilities, located in Springfield, MA 01103
This solicitation is being conducted in compliance with all applicable Massachusetts public procurement laws, and all applicable federal and local laws, rules, regulations and/or ordinances. The written bid that accomplishes the goals of the SPA, and has the lowest price will be awarded a contract, subject to appropriations and approval of the Governing Board of SPA. If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this IFB or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective bidders who received copies of the original request.
The Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be issued beginning June 5, 2017, and will be made available electronically to interested parties who submit requests via email to the contact person at the address listed above.
The Springfield Parking Authority supports minority and women (MWBE) participation, as well as hiring locally, in all contracts.
The Springfield Parking Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids where it deems such action in the best interest of the public and/or the Springfield Parking Authority: and at its sole discretion, to pursue any and all actions it deems in the Springfield Parking Authority’s best interest regarding this Invitation for Bids.
Bids are due on Thursday, June 29th, 2017, before 2:00 p.m. (EST) in the SPA Office, 150 Bridge Street, Springfield MA 01103-1417. An award will be made within 30 days and contract negotiations may begin at that time with the successful Bidder offering the lowest price. Specifications and required forms are available on the SPA website at https://springfieldparkingauthority.com/. There will be a public opening. All bids must be received in accordance with the requirements set forth in the IFB, prior to the deadline.
