Mayor Sarno Names New Board Appointments

Springfield, MA – Mayor Domenic Sarno announces that upon the retirement of Chairman Al Chwalek, he has appointed Mr. Aaron Senez of 46 Bronson Terrace to the Springfield Parking Authority (SPA). Mr. Senez is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a B.A. in Sociology. He has owned and operated Aaron Transport LLC since he founded the company in 2011. Mayor Sarno has also named longtime SPA board member Thomas Lott of 207 Forest Park Avenue as the new SPA Chair.

Named to the School Building Commission is Mr. Colin McQuade of 1081 Dickinson Street. Mr. McQuade earned his B.S. in Sociology in Criminal Justice at Suffolk University and his M Ed. in Administration of Higher Education at Merrimack College. He currently works as Coordinator for Student Activities and Campus Center Operations at American International College.

Mayor Sarno states, “I am very appreciative of Mr. Senez and Mr. McQuade’s willingness to serve our city and bring a new insight to their respective boards. Also, very appreciative of Mr. Lott’s continued belief and investment in our city and our SPA as he becomes its new Chairman.”
