SPRINGFIELD PARKING AUTHORITY HOLDS DONATION DAY TO BENEFIT LOCAL CHARITIES

The Springfield Parking Authority in conjunction with its parking operator, Executive Parking, will conduct a “Donation Day” on Wednesday June 3, 2015 at all its facilities. Donation tables will be located within the parking facilities and all donations collected that day will be distributed to the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts and the Friends of the Homeless in Springfield, MA. Non-perishable packaged or canned food donations will be given to the Food Bank. Friends of the Homeless is in need of flip flops for both men and women, as well as toiletries, socks and underwear.

The public is welcome and encouraged to participate. “Donation Day” is part of an ongoing outreach effort by the Springfield Parking Authority to contribute to the needs of Springfield and neighboring communities.
